- Vaping Education: May 15th @ 7-7:30pm, Lynn Valley Elementary School Library
Suzanne Holynaty will be coming to our May 15th PAC meeting to talk to parents about vaping. Suzanne is a Public Health Nurse with the Child and Youth Community & Family Health division of Vancouver Coastal Health. She will also take the opportunity to talk about family and community connectedness and how it is an important protective factor and indicator of wellness in children. Suzanne will be speaking at the beginning of our PAC meeting, for about a half hour. It’s free to attend. We know this is a popular topic, so please come with your questions, and plan to stay for the whole PAC meeting if you can.

- PAC Communications Role
We are looking for someone to fill the Communications role on the PAC Executive. The PAC has been extremely lucky to have had Nicole Eskes dedicated to this role over the past 6 years (wow!) and she has generously offered to teach someone how to run the PAC website and other communications. This is a great opportunity for someone that wants to gain skills and experience in website management and communication. If you think you might be interested in helping out but are unsure of the commitment, please email Nicole! She would be delighted to chat with you about it.
- Grade 7 Freezie Fundraiser
The grade 7 freezie Friday fundraiser will start after school on Friday, May 3rd. Bring your loonies!
