Lynn Valley’s Annual Pumpkin Patch was a Huge Success!

 What a great day Oct 19th turned out to be. The biggest Pumpkin Patch in the history of Lynn Valley School! We raised over $8000.

Just as the fog rolled in, so did many families. There was so much fun to choose from. Eating fantastic food that Save On Foods donated and The Lynn Valley Lion’s Cook Shack prepared. Picking the right pumpkin that the Bottos’s donated. Playing games with our friends. Jumping and sliding on the bouncy castles with our classmates. The joust and boxing were some of the favourites. Something for all the ages, even the parents! Many people stayed all day.

A huge THANK YOU to Eric M for pulling together the pumpkins, sponsors, the bouncy castles and the food. Thanks also goes out to the Pumpkin Patch Team, Laura M, Julie J, Dominique C, Matina S, Beth, Alison and the Social Committee, Cindy L and Suzie R.  Thank you Julie J for your artwork. The kids really loved the face cut out cowboy board and the fish pond.

The Pumpkin Patch involved many volunteers.  An event this big usually does. Thank you to ALL the parents and Grade 7 volunteers. You did a great job in supporting your school.  There were so many parents volunteering, helping in face painting (Danyne J and Janet A) to music playing to ticket selling to everything! This event really brought Lynn Valley School together.

This event not only brought the families of Lynn Valley School together, it also bought the community together. The Argyle Football Team came out and helped in serving burgers and hot dogs. Go Pipers!!

Thank you goes out to our sponsors;

A great day was had by all. Can’t wait ’til next year’s Pumpkin Patch!!
